After Wednesday I'm sure they'll re-evaluate the board for the final stretch run & go from there. Hard to know names when you're not 100% who's going to be available yet.
what's the scoop on this guy who has apparently been showing out some at the MS/AL practices?

Every year somebody that isn’t an SEC guy had good practices at the all star game and fans clamor for them to get looks. They go on to a small school and disappear.
Oh I agree for sure. He's just been mentioned as one of the standouts two days in a row at the slot with no real mention of Pruitt. I had never heard of him so didn't know if he was a guys not getting any offers because of a smaller school, or grades, didn't go to any camps, isn't fast enough or big enough or something else.
Best thing for everyone to do is Chill till Wednesday.. Hall And Bedford are the 2 names to watch between now and then
Like IYOK said after Wednesday , we see who is still available and focus on need and best available and those that we have been on that didn’t sign early .
Some new names will pop up, always does ( my guess it will be a juco ). Also some of these bigger boys (like UGA did with JRP) will have classes getting full and will pull the grey shirt card out on some kids. They might look for other landing spots
Biggest thing is to get as many of our guys signed Wednesday as possible . 80% was the number I was told. Anything greater than that is gravy ...
Enjoy the weekend and the hoops game Sat night
We will sign 18 on Wednesday. So there will be plenty of work to do for February.
You might as well count Pickering. He's not going anywhere. Emerson is the only one I'd really hate to lose. There's two that are going to screw around and lose their spots if they don't sign.
This is the part that I believe under Moorhead we might begin to see a little more of. Some of these kids that are still available after next week may get additional interest from us. We have shown we can recruit and get kids to flip already. It's like a second recruiting season after this early signing day. Kids are weighing options, not sure what to do, so we will open the lines of communication with others.
I am not worried about this staff and effort on the recruiting front. For once I feel confident that we are going to close strong. If we finish with a top 20 class no one should be complaining about the guys we missed. Because that would mean we hit alot. If we can raise our profile from 27 where we currently sit to the 17-19 range we are going to win alot more games going forward.
Keep winning bowls, keep putting guys in the league, and we may see some real success in the next ten years that MS State has never experienced. It's a marathon to build a program we all see how taking shortcuts got Ole Miss in a bind. Keep grinding.
Darius Washington is taking an unofficial visit to FSU this weekend. Will be interesting to see if he sticks with us. Seems to be flirting around in Florida
Washington does seem to be sniffing around his home state. He's been an under the radar guy nobody has talked so will be interesting to see what happens there. I'm guessing we're still high on him and want him though.
I have a feeling we are going to hear some good news today. Lets get it.
Texas Tech just approved beer sales at games. Good news is here fellas.
