Somehow you guys are still blaming the offense. Our offense isn't good. Our defense is horrible. Sec qbs are completing passes at around a 90% clip. This season was doomed from the get go with this defense

Hold up. That was 4th down?
Saban should give the ball back and tell us to try to gain yards.

Well, there is nothing left to say about the defense. They can?t stop the run. They cannot cover. They cannot spy a QB. The best players we have are on the field.

The offense is different. Tons of things that could be done. We just refuse to mix up the play calls. We refuse to change personnel. We refuse to play the best 3 WRs at the same time.

Promoting from within rarely works. Hiring from the outside rarely works.

Brad Peterson and the Cigar Boys who did not like the old staff. The old staff kept a lot of stuff in house and they knew if they brought back Peterson, Friend, and Bumphis then they would get their precious info once again. They just had to get rid of the old staff to do that and make sure he hired exactly who they wanted, which is why Peterson was the first hire.

And in the talk of the offense is to blame... we scored 2 more tonight than we've done in the previous 3 combined games vs bama. And yeah, the offense still sucks. Still though, our biggest issue isn't will being terrible... it's our defense being maybe the worst in the country

So our head coach runs on the field while the offense is lining up before the game is even over? Oh my lol

The problem though is there is a segment of boosters/fans that believe you have to be from Mississippi or the Southeast to get it. Tell that shit to Kiffin, Saban, Kelly, etc.

Yep. But there is nothing we can do about the defense. They are the worst in the country, definitely the conference. I would take Vandy defense over ours. They don?t give up 90+ completion percentage for the season. No one ver has.

Sadly, I don't believe we do. We are facing a 4-8 season and I'd bet a paycheck Arnett gets another year and Will is talked into coming back for his final year eligibility.

Leach also got you Tulu, Zavion, Creed, Polk, etc etc the same people saying this also said Mullen couldn?t recruit but every guy we have in the league just about was a Mullen recruit..

I have no idea what Mullen has to do with the current players on the field. But regarding Rogers, as you said, we only offered him because we wanted someone else. He had a bonafide scholarship offer from Leach to Wazzou.

The point is... all this bickering about Leach would have done.... we have no OL because of his offense. We have no DL because of his and Arnetts recruiting. The talent is waaaaayyyyy down. Also The current coaching staff sucks. 4 and freaking 8 here we come.

Here's what even worse. Parson is short and ... from watching warm ups... doesn't have the arm Will does....and Will doesn't exactly have a canon. Good grief.

Defensive recruiting was on Arnett. However the OL stuff is overblown. It really is. Most of the guys played HS ball in MS and were run first blockers. Also the zone concept isn?t hard to master-you don?t have man assignments in it. Now if they?re adding man assignments to it and have two OL coaches on top of that?we deserve all we are getting.

Their defense was ranked 7th in SEC going into tonight. Show me the last time a Bama D was ranked 7th at any time in any season since Saban's 1st season. And their best D player, who also is the play caller, got hurt last week and missed tonight's game. This Bama D is far below every one since Saban's first one.

Scoring defense wasn't, so far they are on pace to be better than last year and the year before. Held UM to 10 points last week.

I've seen him on the field. His height reminds me of Tyson Lee. He does look thicker than Lee. Arm....Maybe it's just warm ups and he isn't throwing 100%. Maybe he turns into a Jayden de Laura, as far has his arm strength and mobility but...... we shall see.

My point was not to pick on him, but to say our recruiting has to get better.
