That's been the gameplan against Mizzou all season. They are the worst in the league at protecting the ball. It's the only thing holding them back. Certainly nothing their opponents are just now figuring out.

Those two charge calls killed us at the end, pretty amazing comeback though. Peters made that 3 right after that charge call too. Ugh Mizzou got lucky

Refs took 5 pts in made baskets off the board on questionable calls. They decided the game instead of the players.

Yes. Awful game plan putting Peters on Robertson instead of Nick. Called off the press in OT. And didn't have us prepared on how to defend the ball screen from the Mizzou bigs.

Yea I hate to rip players but he's pretty bad... And the problem is he arguably gets worse when he actually scores some points.

Eli Wright isn't very good either, but he seems to understand what his role is and does his job.

Yep. Pretty sickening. It's tough enough to come back and send it to OT, but having to beat the refs too makes it pretty much impossible. Today was another stellar example of SEC officiating. **** those guys.

These game threads get read by our opponents fans and are a representation of our fanbase. Cussing is allowed, being a dickhead is allowed, getting on our players is allowed and all sorts of stupid shit is allowed but being racist or xenophobic or any of that other shit IS NOT ALLOWED. You get home court calls so I expected the Holman charge jobbing. If it’s in Starkville, it’s probably a blocking foul but we already beat them in Starkville. The charge on Peters should have been a no call at best. The crappy thing is he made the three point shot so we would have been up 1 with 6 seconds left. Whoever said earlier in the Alabama game they don’t mind Greene well that was Greene’s crew and the white bald dude who called it. Just horrible that a game like that was decided in that fashion.

I'm pissed too. I'm not a big believer in moral victories, but as long as we don't let this game beat us twice, we can still finish strong. This was a tough game on the road at a good team. Yeah it sucks we were in position to win, but the refs ****ing us aside, we still played our hearts out. Its tough to win on the road in the SEC; mainly due to the shit-tastic officiating. I still think we can steal the A&M game and hold serve at home. Still plenty to play for.

Vandy is gonna be tough. What sucks is we cannot lose bc vandy started so terribly. Vandy is not terrible now though, and we have to win on their home court
