Yea, if the catch made was the first out then no you don't risk it. But you've got to try to score when its the second out. Just not good enough odds that the next guy will get a hit. If he gets thrown out he gets thrown out but the guy was running sideways to get to the ball in the OF anyway.

It was two outs when the RF caught it. No different than trying to score from second on a two out single.
