How was going with Barton conceding defeat? He could have pulled him in the middle of the inning after he let a few on base, but who would he have gone to? McQuary?

The guy hit 3 batters and walked 2 before getting anyone ready in the bullpen. They got one hit they scored five runs in the eighth. He is coaching for game 3.

We cannot let JB give up a crooked number to start game 2. Self needs to be in the bullpen to start game. 2 runs could win it for mize

You do realize Mize is hurt? They had to rest him last week and didn't pitch him. They were only going to pitch him if the game was Sunday. He could possibly see bullpen work tonight but that is it.

I guess..I wouldn't bring in Price or Self with us already losing. And McQuary, Barlow and Jolly don't really throw strikes consistanly either, but at least they haven't proven they couldn't today, unlike Barton.

Without walks or hit batters this game is a W for us instead 17-8. Just tells you how important throwing strikes on the freaking mound is.

Still don't understand why Self has ZERO starts on the year.

17-8 Auburn wins it. We have Self and Price mostly rested so they should get a ton of them this next game. No Msstate7 I don't think they pitch Mize.
