Looks like we got a tight end today too. The Washington kid - is he the kid that blew everyone away at camp?
Lets goooooo
2014 big dawg camp is the only one close. Had like 7-8 guys commit that night, couple of 4 stars(Jamal Peters and Nick Gibson maybe?), and Leo Lewis decomitted from Ole Miss.
Any info on the Bama TE? Figured he would have flipped to Bama already or is Bama just keeping him warm?
I?m outta the loop lately with personal stuff.
Who committed this week? And something about a TE that Bama is after??
No ** , I?m legit asking and I?m not going back 3-5 pages to find out lol
No I don't feel that way anymore. As I said at that time he had his work cut out for him which was true and to his credit he has gotten the recruits he needed to land.
Credit where credit is due.
The biggest surprise to me in hindsight is how it appears that NIL has affected recruiting. Looks to me like Ole Miss has used a strategy of pay to commit early and build early momentum while we have better overall recruiters at the end of the day which seem to building better relationships with the players. Not sure if this is going to be the norm going forward or if it was just simply us having a mostly new staff whereas Ole Miss had a more intact staff and we just simply made up ground.
At the end of the day if we get the best players we can we will be in good shape going forward.
We aren't done. I feel like we've got a good shot at at least two or three more 4 star guys. Not saying we get them all, but a shot.
Do you think we might could get some of these kids that have early committed out of state? I can't help but think yesterday may have helped us tremendously in that area. I think 8 of the Top 20 in state are committed out of state and with a deep class like this it would be nice to get a few more to stay with us.
Yeah, we can't really celebrate until they're signed, but at least we're on the right side of things right now. If we're getting these commits because of the relationships that the coaches are building with the kids, I've got to think that we've got an excellent chance at keeping most of them.
Could it be We are building ourselves a network boys?
Hill was not the same last year as he was as a Soph. He was unbelievable that year im not sure he is over that injury mentally
Anybody got the scoop on today's commitment watch?
