Why throw a WR screen when they have 2 defender on the line vs our 1 blocker? Then 4s protection still doesn't result in an open man downfield, and Walley drops the pass on the scramble. At least we have Polk to bail us out, but jump balls vs double coverage isn't an O

And it's been that way, Give or take a point or 2, forever. Under Mullen we had no WRs, a year with a terrible RBroom, QBs of varying abilities, and OLs of varying qualities. Under Moorhead we could t execute anything. Under Leach we can't execute anything, and somehow are at a skill position deficit vs a G5.

It's not even talent. We're just coached like shit. Walley and Tulu are better than any of their WRs. Ditto Marks and their RBs. I think OL is probably a push and I agree their QB is better than Will. But this offense puts the D on the field all the 17ing time and puts them in bad positions. I think Arnett is doing a helluva job considering the shit hand he's working with.

It frustrates me to no end how badly coached we are. We're paying a semi-retired coach $5M a year to tank us and make sure we're uncompetitive for a decade because we'll have to completely rebuild the roster. The roster Leach will leave won't be useable for whoever we hire after him. And you can rest assured it'll take us at least 2 extra years to fire Leach. But hey, Cohen has a job for life thanks to a baseball natty and the LT supporting Cigar Boys. There's no way he'll 17 up the next football hire.***
