This game reminds me of the LSU SECT game. Ironically a Ginn start as well.

So now we won't have a fresh Ginn, Smith, or Liebelt for the rest of the Regional, and we're only in the 4th inning against Southern!!!

Not concerned yet. It's the Top of the 4th and we just had to pull our starter after his last warm up pitch, then throw a freshman into the game without warning.

That's gonna cause things to go a tad crazy. We've gotten through it now. Time to hit.

Boy that was a tough top 4, but at least it's over only 2 down.

We don’t need to pitch Liebelt to more than this one batter if we are thinking long term.

That's our primary problem. We really don't a "go to" guy in relief, other than Lieblelt.

We absolutely have to win these first 2 games, or we will not get out of this regional.

Now tell everyone to work some counts. Get to a count where you know whats coming, and drive the ball.

We haven’t had our turn in the 4th and they’ve already gone to the pen before us.

Plus Smith will be good to use tomorrow with that short of a pitch count.

Ain’t the best scenario but there are some positives going on, don’t forget. We aren’t behind in the run count yet.

I’m more concerned that we aren’t hitting an 82-83 mph fastball the only pitch that pitcher has consistently thrown for a strike.
