Yea. Ginn is going.
Not sure what else LSU has left as far as pitching but can’t be much. Be a great time for our guys to go off...
I just want us to go back to our approach, be confident, look for our pitch, and grind out at bats. If we do that, we can get back on track offensively. The last two games we have looked timid, unsure, and completely guessing.Quote:

Notes on Ginn:

They may try to go back to Henry. He didn't make it through the 2nd on Wednesday. But he was almost at 50 pitches so I doubt they'd be able to go very long with him. Our bullpen is in much better shape than theirs. We need to jump all over them early and don't let LSU use their use usual Hoover black magic.
I am ready for our guys to go home and rest but I sure do hate losing to those SOB's.
The only concern I currently have is national seed standing. Someone is going to be left out in the cold in regards to a top 8 seed. I just cant see them giving the SEC 4 of the 8. So Vandy is a lock, then it comes down to Ark, us, and Georgia I dont wanna be sitting at home when they are still playing. If GA was to go on and win the whole thing we may have to sweat it out.

And to the poster above....there is 0% chance of us even being as low as #6 National Seed, much less falling out completely. I'd say chances are better than 90% that we're #3, even if LSU beat us 20-0 tonight
The SEC will get 4 of the top 8 and they’ll match them all up against each other if they survive super regional play. Half will get a super with another SEC team.

These conference tournaments are only important to the teams on the bubble for getting into a regional, the national seeds are pretty much decided before the conference tournaments even start. We will be the 3 or 4 national seed.

We have ALOT BETTER shot at being the #1 seed than we have of being left off the national seed pic. Some of you guys need to chill and enjoy it all. We are at worst the #5 seed, but I?m guessing we are #4.

Won't surprise me if the sec ends up w the 2 4,5,8. Which means if serve holds all but one in the same bracket in Omaha.
Curious to see what order they have us, Arkansas, and Georgia. UCLA and Vandy are locks to be the Top 2. Georgia has the next best RPI but was swept by us. We were swept by Arkansas but have better metrics than they do. My guess is if any of these three teams win the SECT then that will be who gets 3 overall. 4 and 5 at that point would essentially be a coin flip.
I agree that 6 is our floor though. Really feel like 4 or 5 is most likely, unless we win the SECT, then we could get to 3.
Really the only non-national seeds (9-16) on that list that would scare me would be Oregon State and maybe Georgia Tech. I think we'd smoke NC State at homeQuote:
