Lebby clearly doesn't know what good looks like, so this doesn't comfort me.
Maybe God was protecting KT from Lebby tonight.
Probably because I melted down.
My bad guys.
I HATE it when someone gets hurt and that looked kind of dirty to me.
We've been through so much and to have something else bad happen just pushed me to my limit.
If Taylor by some miracle didn't destroy his leg tonight, he may should use it to run from this cursed hell hole.
Word from the locker room is that he is up walking around with no brace just a limp. After watching that hit I don?t know how something isn?t seriously hurt though.
He should get an MRI to check for ligament damage, it would likely be done once he gets back to Starkville if I had to guess.
You believe? You obviously don't know what I've said or think. The coach is also paid way more than players to coach and think for the entire program. He was hurt 3 times and limping extremely bad before the final injury. Only an idiot sends and expects an injured player to out do someone healthy. I guess you're that idiot.
Well we are not used to people actually going in hot on a tackle.
For instance, name 2 times in the entire team our play went in for a good hard tackle?
Jamming his neck into the ground wasn't a cramp. Also, If you can't run full speed in a game where people are trying to kill you you're likely to get injured worse. That's regardless the type of injury. You see how this works? It's so simple a 5th grader could understand. Do I need to break it down to the 3rd grade level?

Mom says nothing torn or broke and all good.
Nah. It wasn't a neck injury. Not only that, you complaint was he was limping due to injury. He was not injured.
But let's go with your "he was injured 599 times and should have been pulled" over the top emotional take. He was also hurt vs ole miss. So in 2 starts he's been injured. What was it you use to call our QB???
If he is that injury prone this is not the game for him to play.
The head coach for Wake Forest challenged the 2nd down assuming KT was over the line of scrimmage. During that play he got up could barely stand and Lebby didn't call timeout or take him out during the review. It was only maybe one series or two afterwards he was limping and no where near ok. Also, if a player says they can go and not concussed coaches will let them play. How many times do you see players trying to come back in the game only to realize they can't play full speed after returning. KT just wouldn't stay down/out until he couldn't.
Why would we take a timeout during a review? Do you really think we weren't checking KT out during the review? If it wasn't for the review we probably put Luke in. And hell- wasn't that the TD drive where KT played his best all game when he threw that strike to SanFrisco?
No it's hilarious because you wanted KT to be the QB the whole time because he was more mobile and now that he gets hurt running the ball you're mad at Lebby because he couldn't "protect him".
And you don't understand that this isn't 1998 anymore and there are injury protocols that have to be followed. And spare me- you were the one wondering why we didn't take a timeout during a review of a play.
Agreed. It's amazing to me that 2 people can watch the exact same thing and come to different conclusions. KTs decision making needs a LOT of work. A whole hell of a lot! There were tons of plays he left on the field last night with bad decisions. It comes with experience. He still has that 1 read then run mentality that young QBs have. The elite ones learn how to harness it and use their speed to their advantage. I watched him through HS and it was the same mindset. Not playing him more earlier this year was costly. But he wasn't ready to take the full load and still isn't and won't be for a few games next year probably. I just hope he puts in shit tons of work now that he's the man and makes up a lot of ground quick. I think he can and has the workhorse mentality to do so. He's a more athletic Chris Relf right now. Hopefully he can become more like Dak before next season.
