Starkville is not an exciting town. That should come to the shock of legitimately no one. It is harder to recruit to boring towns. Again, should come as a shock to no one. Birmingham is an hour away and it has everything. Tupelo is over an hour away from Starkville and has about 1/10 of the stuff Birmingham does. Saban also had his own private jet on top of Bama's. Our coaches aren't on Saban level. Saban also doesn't spend his off season on his boat in FL. He, like most SEC football coaches, vacation on Lake Burton in GA. However, Nick keeps his boat in Tuscaloosa. His house is on a damn lake.Quote:
