Coach34 Update

Update-

Sedation lowered and he is responding to basic commands of squeeze my hand, move your toes. Turning his head to voice commands. This is an amazing development but still so far to go and by no means out of the woods.

The goal today is to keep him sedated still so as not to fight the vent tube. While doing that decreasing his reliance on the vent tube to hopefully get it out and see where we are.

Other thread mentioned concerns about organ failure/damage and cognitive damage.

Obviously we won't know about the cognitive stuff till later, but do we at least know a bit about organ damage? Is he in the clear there?
