I was afraid of that.
I thought it was obvious last week that Memphis was horrible, but the good news is we dominated
The good news is we dominated. Probably should have scored 56-63 and didn't because we shot ourselves in the foot.
The other interesting thing to me is they are shutting down Navy's run game. That makes me feel even better about our offense honestly as they may be good at stopping the run.
They are winning 13-7 as I type this. And on the road. They are moving the ball much better on Navy.
As long as our defense doesn?t have to play over 60 plays. When they started making plays in the 2nd half, it looked like our d starters got tired and our 2nd unit wasn?t very good. Remember it was 35-3, Then 35-16, then 42-16, then 42-23 before State put it away at 49-23. Navy is playing them pretty salty on defense. I suspect tonight may be a lot too close for comfort. I know. I know. A win is a win. But even a win can expose some warts. Reference: Alabama vs. Texas. Bama has lots of warts.
ND is not that good either.
