OT - Car Show in Starkville

I am thinking of organizing a car show for Starkville. First, I was trying to think of an event to combo it with to give car enthusiast something else to do after the car event in town.

For instance, the event could be held downtown on Saturday morning prior to a football game, homecoming, big time baseball series, or something similar. I know cruising the coast is the first week of October, so would imagine that the event would need to be spaced off of that event. I would also like to start a monthly drive in meet up in Starkville. Just cannot figure out a good weekend to host it.

It may be a good event to combo with the cotton district arts festival, to give people something else to do downtown that day.
