He's picked up two MSU projections from Paul Jones and a ND insider. He visits this weekend. Hopefully, we're his only visit and the good news continues.

Leach, wrap this up, and then parlay it into a WR transfer

If we can get Costello this could wind up being a very good week for us, what with us getting our DC and finalizing the staff and all. Close the deal, Coach!

Get Costello, get a grad transfer WR, get Levi Draper from OU, and then try to find an older safety to put into this Arnett defense and let's 17'n roll!

Orange County kid to Starkvegas. I've done that in reverse and it was a wonderful cultural experience for me I still have good friends from that time I hope it works well for him.

So if it's Costello, and it appears to be, what's the plan with Garrett and Will Rodgers? RS both, let them get some limited snaps in the offense, and then let them duel it out next year in camp?

I doubt he would come all the way here and not be serious about transfering. Lay out the red carpet and I think he's ours.

I just want to see a transfer actually work out. (offense, we've had good defensive guys)

Dee Anderson from LSU is definitely worth a look, imo. Tall, fast, physical. Has experience in the SEC. Had a very good game against Auburn last year so he's done it against an SECW opponent. Only question is his work ethic which is what got him suspended from the team before the start of this year. If he just needs a change of scenery & he's dropped the effort BS, then he'd be very solid.

If he doesn't have a good work ethic, doubt if Leach is interested...just having finished reading Swing Your Sword

I said this prior to Stevens being a bust but you can have Shrader for 4 games, Rogers for 4 games, and Mayden at any other time for a back up if all the QBs are still on the roster next year.

Costello changes the game for us next year.
