Saw a little blurb on twitter. He said in the SEC it just means more if you have a certain logo on your chest. Bentley was the first person in SEC history to throw for over 500 yards and 5 TDs against a top 5 team. SEC office gave the award to Tua and Shurmur. Bentley did that against the top defense in the country at the time.
Can't argue with him on that.

I watched the Vandy/UT game.....Shurmur looked like an NFL QB that game. He was incredible. If you look back at Vandy's record, they were surprisingly close to a 8-4 or better team. I think their coach is doing a pretty good job. This is their 2nd bowl in a row and that alone is amazing for Vandy. And to think with just the difference of one or two plays, they beat a playoff team (ND) in South Bend. Even at 6-6, IMO, this was one of the Commodores best all round teams.Quote:
