Who will it be for us?
Good question. Todd Grantham's brother? Brad Peterson/Pat Austin/Rod Gibson?
I imagine it will be someone on the defensive side of the ball.
Hev got a brother?***
Bonial? Or I guess you really don't NEED a ST coach on the field and off campus recruiting.
I'd hire a tackles and guard coach and let Hev coach and recruit the rest of the OL since he like taking there best player and doing that. ***
I hope it's:
Hev to women's football camp coordinator in Seal building.
Looney to o/line.
Peterson to TE.
Grantham's brother to LB's/Assistant ST.
Is this effective next year?
Yes. Goes into effect 1/9/18.
Does this mean Hev no longer recruits? Funny not funny
As long as he is on our on the field staff he can recruit. That's the downside of Peterson and Austin being in the Seal Building- unless they got a Barney Farrar waiver they can't recruit off campus unless we lose an on the field coach. There was a lot of outrage from other schools over when Ole Miss did that so I don't expect that to happen again anytime soon. Peterson and Austin were allowed to recruit off campus this year when Sirmon was fired and Linguist left and they recruited until we hired Grantham and English. Any extra assistant we have that can recruit off campus will help us with managing Hevesy and his lack of a desire to recruit period.
Sweet Jesus and for the love of God, can we get a special teams coach now? I love Mullen, but damn if his special teams play hasn't been special since day one.
I've heard Boniol but nothing concrete on that
Looney is not going to be our OL coach this decade. He coaches TE's and is supposed to recruit his ass off. That's it.
