I shared the day before he advocate announced it that Kiffin is likely going to LSU. It was part of the package with hiring Ogre in the first place.

Be interesting to see if Ogre can make it happen with Bama going to the playoffs. Timing will be key.

And will start a possible domino effect.

Good move for Houston. Lane would have been an awful hire. I've said it numerous times, but Kiffin is going to have to prove himself at a lower level school before ever getting another shot at the Power 5. And by lower level, I mean Sun Belt or the MAC.

I disagree. I think turning around LSU's offense would get him a good head coaching job quicker than staying at Bama.

I think with the failure of Muschamp, struggles of Smart, & Non-imaginative offense of McElwain, assistants at Alabama are considered a crap shoot & most of the credit for success is given to Saban & the talent.
