He is wanting to change position to WR or TE so he can be drafted possibly at a higher position than he could at rb.
Come to State
Is he a grad transfer? This is one area we need to be working on hard as well. I'd have my recruiting guys pinpointing every grad transfer and then making contact as soon as allowed. My pitch would be based on coming to the SEC for your last season and competing with the best players and teams in the country and experiencing all that comes with it. Bama got the WR a couple of years ago from Oregon State I believe that played a huge part in their O. I remember Georgia signing an OL last year. There have been several others.
We can't afford to overlook any avenue in getting players into our program.
Hurd is in his junior season but could possibly be graduating early idk
This is surely partially due to Kamara transferring into UT from Bama. It's just SEC Dominoes. Not sure if this really has any effect on us but it sucks being at the end of the Dominoe line.
More going on here than him just wanting to change positions and transfer..
Yup, SPS poster found this on Reddit

Reminds me of Sumlin at A&M. Lots of talent, lots of hype, but when things start to go south it seems like everyone revolts. These bigger programs desperately need Saban to leave the SEC. Otherwise, most will continue rolling around in a heaping pile of mediocrity.
Oh, and the "Pepsi guy" is going to want a refund.
Some of those comments are pretty funny in the comment section. One guy said no one melts down worse than UT...I thought we accused ourselves of that too.
One guy claims to have gone to high school briefly with him. Said Hurd was expelled his freshman year from the guys high school for trying to take pictures up the skirt of a teacher...
