Somehow yesterday I got lost in the rabbit hole known as the Internet band watched both these commercials. I remember being a kid and watching the helicopter lure infomercial & thinking, if I only had that lure I could catch a million bass only to finally get it and never caught a damn thing with it lol. Here are the 2 old commercials for old times sake. Enjoy

Slightly related note regarding lures catching fisherman more than fish. As little as 3 years ago, 100% of the trout and redfish I caught on plastic was on voodoo shrimp or matrix shad. Easily the 2 hottest lines of articials in MS/LA. I have 1 tackle box that was filled to the brim with varous assorted plastics I didn't use. All kinds of stuff and I made the decision not to buy another plastic until I made a huge dent in that bag. This year I fished all kinds of plastic from old school sparkle beetles, h&h cockahoes, shrimp imitations that didn't even have a brand name on them... And guess what? They all catch fish. Big shocker: there is no magic bait, it's about finding fish. If you find fish it doesn't matter what you throw besides color sometimes. When I get out to the marsh with multiple people, I tried to have all of us fish different colors to see what they wanted most and most of the time it didn't matter. I'll continue on making a dent in my bag before I buy anything else. Still plenty in there.
Damn, BeastMan, you went way back for those. Brings back memories though.
