Haven't seen it mentioned on this board yet, but Alabama's shortstop out for year.

Chandler Avant had an ankle injury or something like that and he's supposed to be out for the year (for sure this weekend). That has to be a pretty big blow to them.

For a team that relies on pitching, this has to hurt

So his season was stopped short.
