If he is an option... He is gonna have to be paid.. as a LB coach at Auburn last year he made between 450-500k, I'm sure he got a nice bump with the title of Associate Head Coach for Defense at South Carolina recently. I would think an offer would need to be in the 600-750k range.
We need to pay $750-$1mil either way.
$1 mil a year is becoming a trend for SEC coordinators as of late. Strick needs to understand that if he wants to dance with the big boys.Quote:

There's absolutely no reason for State not to offer 750k or more for the right guy. Want to see a DC stay with us more than one year? Pay a comparable SEC salary!
Pay what the person is worth in the SEC market, I agree, but it won't guarantee they stay more than a year. Guys making over a $1MIL are leaving after a year.Quote:
