We counting Cam Newton here? Tim Tebow won a NC and a heisman. Alex Smith won a heisman and went 12-1 at Utah one year. That is a strong statement by Mullen. Dak is certainly top 3 but I'm gonna chalk that comment to emotion after just winning 51-50.
I don't know, Tebow had a lot more "talent help" than Dak has had in his career, especially at OL, I wouldn't think the competition that Smith saw at Utah was all that great either. That doesn't mean that I know Dak is better than both of them, but Dan would know. As far as Cam, he's got physical talent no one else has, but when Dan coached him, he did not have his head right either.Quote:
