Many, many years ago, 1980 to be exact.....

I was a senior in high school. My late Dad took me to see MSU and La. Tech play. We sat in the old wooden bleachers that used to be in the south endzone. We were struggling early on. The fans had been clamoring for a freshman to play. He came in to a rousing ovation to lead MSU to a win that day and to two (by the sorry standards of the day) really good seasons. His name was John Bond. I think we saw that, times at least 4 or 5 today. Hopefully it's going to spark a really nice season. I'm even more excited about the youngsters and the future.
