I'd say yes- but not enough to make that much of a difference. Any type of national exposure for MSU in any sport can't hurt the other sports.

If you have good recruiters on staff it could. "You can win a national championship at this school" mantra should definitely be taken advantage of by all sports. I would.
money and women. It makes the world go 'round and trumps everything else. At least with 90% of 18 year olds.
It could help, but I doubt it would do too much. Look at Kentucky, always had a heck of a basketball team and until this year they never really made too big of a splash in football recruiting.
I think it pays off in the long run.

Well how much exactly has Alabamas football championships helped in baseball? And that's much bigger.
Their baseball suffers because of their football. As do their other sports except for maybe gymnastics. They just don't pay attention to it.Quote:
