I would trade a baseball NC to go 0-12 this season. Especially if all other things are equal aka we still have the same players going into the 2014 football season.

In a heartbeat. Baseball is the only sport where we have a legitimate shot at a National Championship. NC > NYD Bowl. I'd HATE going 4-8, but it'd be damn well worth it for a NC. Not to mention the snowball effect winning a NC would have for our baseball program. I'm with Todd: If we ever win one, we're going to see the program go to heights we've never seen before.
For MSU to get an NCAA national championship in ANY of the 3 main sports would be absolutely huge. I would be willing to go winless in the other 2 sports that particular school year to get a national championship in any of the 3. Obviously we are talking baseball right now but I would have said the same thing in 1996 when we were 2 wins away from a national title in basketball.Quote:
