That should calm the natives that were ready to fire everyone. Also, this doesn't tell the story on Seaton. We needed another tackle after James left. Sneh COULD be a LT, but he also could be RT or the swing man.
He graded well. I think he will be fine.
We averaged 30 PPG with the five matadors so with the improvements we've made we should be fine on offense.
2022 Fayetteville State D-II Started as a true freshman.
2023 Elizabeth City State D-II Started 10 games; developed into a top D-II prospect.
2024 Wagner College FCS Started 11 games (600+ snaps); allowed 0 sacks all season.
2025 UAB FBS Transferred to UAB after a brief spring stint at Kansas State.
As far as I can tell, it's all been at LT
I still want a 25 year old from one of the cold states
After missing big on Seaton and the corresponding fallout that followed I bet we paid a pretty penny for this one.
If he is indeed 6 feet and 2 inches, KT should be able to easily see over him in the passing lanes. But, he'd better be able to keep the arms down on the six-foot-four DT or DE that is lined up opposing him. It is a big fall in my opinion. Except for Boone and maybe a guard, we are again rebuilding our entire OL with just one spring and fall practice session to learn the offense and gel as a unit. Time will quickly tell if we are even serviceable. JMO.
Not true. Ask Baylor. Baylor signed former NBA draft pick James Nnaji, a 7-foot center drafted in 2023 who played professionally in Europe, for the current college basketball season, making him the first former NBA draft pick cleared by the NCAA to play college hoops.
There were 10,000 players that entered the portal- every school is rebuilding every season. That's college football today
So is he really 6'6 or 6'2? That's a big difference. All the scouting sites say 6'6 but 6'2 keeps being thrown around here
He is definitely not 6'6" in height. He is much closer to 6'2". But if his wingspan is the same as someone 6'4" or longer he could play tackle, just doesn't have the desired measurable.
I would think long arms are more important than height. In the picture that i saw, it looks like he has pretty long arms. Maybe he isn’t a first round draft pick, but I don’t think he will be a turnstile either.
This seems like a really good pick up. Good job to Lebby and staff for landing him.
How did we miss big??? We were in the conversation, but to lose out to teams that are winning on the reg vs what we?ve been doing lately. We?ve stepped up in the NIL, but you have to start winning to ?miss big? in the portal. If he doesn?t go to LSU, then they missed big. If we missed ?big? on anyone, it was Dyson from Tulane who went to NC State.
Exactly- we didnt miss big on Seaton. Thats comical. The fact we were in the convo shows that Lebby and Crew are doing a great job.
