Madison Francis and Destiney both collided hard into the bleachers and we're injured. Mcphaul was able to come back into the game. Francis was taken to the locker room favoring leg.
Halftime

End Of 3 rd Quarter
Mi.. Stat 60
LaSalle 29
Destiney Mcphaul leads Miss. State with 12 points, 7 assists
Been seeing good reports on the condition of Madison Francis.
Final
Miss. State 85
LaSalle 37
- Jaylah Lampley led Miss. Statein scoring with 18 points, had 6 rebounds
- Destiney Mcphaul with a double double...16 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and only 2 turnovers (note..she finished a few rebounds and steals short of a rare quadruple double)
Again, Mcphaul is the most spectacular playmaker I've seen in women's college basketball this season. I saw flashes of this in earlier games...could easily see what was unfolding.
- Favour Nwaedozi 13 points, 10 rebounds (double double
-Chandler Prater 10 points, 10 rebounds (double double)
- Trayanna Crisp 10 points
Again, been seeing good reports on Madison Francis, she appears to be ok.
Miss. State moves to 12-1
The team is really playing consistently the past few games. The only frustration was toward the end of the first half starting at approximately the 1:46 mark when we tried too many homerun passes and turned it over a few times.
Lots more set plays than in the past that is taking advantage of some of our versatile players. Also, very proud of the bench players that came in late. Other than a rushed three by N Gray they really inserted themselves in the system instead of just throwing up shots.
Several years ago Coach Richard Williams said that most junior college players don’t make their final adjustments until approximately a year and a half into their senior college tenure. D McPhaul seems to following his assessment. She is looking very comfortable out there and playing extremely well right now.
