And he?s not ready, earlier on the season.
Me, and I was right? What point are you trying to make here. It obviously clicked with him somewhere around game 7 and he was ready to take over around Arkansas but I understand the logic not throwing him to the wolves for UGA and Missouri and giving him the 2 extra weeks for the egg
My point is our fans are not good judges of what should happen.
Yea , making it to #1 was horrible.
It?s been a blast winning 1 game in 2 years.
Too many answers to the he's not ready. Depends on ready for what. Some questions, yes. And yet others, still no. He IS going to be the guy. And he likely will achieve his full potential. Today was just the beginning.
Here, and wasn’t great today. Missed on many throws and we never had much continuity in offense outside of the scripted series. He has a boatload of ability and made some amazing athletic plays but we had zero offensive flow due to inconsistency today. He needs a lot of help, we must improve talent on the oline or it doesn’t matter if Superman is the qb, you can’t be good with your ass on the ground.
Our coaching staff was dumb not to play him more. He accounted for about 400 yards today.
Water under the bridge. On to baseball.
KT is priority #1. He's gonna be great, but will it be for us?
I did. I will absolutely own that one. We probably lose Az State with him but we beat Florida and Texas. He gave us enough today to show me he could have won against those two teams.
In this era, if you have a superstar, You play him.
We had 2 freaks on our team -
Kelly Jones
KaMario Taylor
One of them is a first round pick.
The other rode the bench while we barely lost games.

How do you know
Right here.
We scored 19 points. That's meh. Yes the runs were great and he has special talent. But he has to learn how to be a better passer to reach his full potential. And he will get there. But he missed at least three throws that would have been touchdowns including two bad passes to Evans where we had to settle for field goals.
Not reading a thing of this thread. If youre out on KaMario 17 you and 17 off
He would not have made a difference in our season! Yes, he?s got the POTENTIAL to be great, but he was not going to be our savior this year. Yes, he might be the most gifted QB that we have signed, and yes, he runs like Bond, yes, he has a cannon of a arm, BUT he would not have made a difference in our season bc his accuracy is a huge issue. He missed on several big opportunities today, and it is not even debatable. When you?re missing receivers by feet on the reg, what can you argue?? If we had played him vs any SEC teams this year, he would have 1) lost, 2) the fans would have thrown him under the bus, and 3) he would be injured.
SVS said he would have made a difference vs TX and FL?..no he would not have made a difference. We would be a one dimensional team with him as we were today. You load the box, spy him with your fastest defensive player in passing situations, blitz on every play, and you win! Great legs don?t beat the top tier SEC teams. They look good at times, but they don?t win games for you alone. Our record would have been just as bad, and we would have lost to ASU.
If he can turn the corner with his accuracy, we recruit better with big, fast wr?s and improve our OL, then we can get excited. Until then, all we have is a very athletic QB.
