LSU has a state with very talented athletes where 95% of them want to play in Baton Rouge. Add to that they can recruit nationally. A good coach can compete for a title every year in that job and win a title every 3-4 years. Bama is only job better in the country than LSU. Georgia is 3rd. Ohio St 4th.
I would think lsu and Ohio st are 1-2. Rank em how you want... either are capable of winning big with just a decent coachQuote:

If LK wins out and then wins a playoff game, why would he leave? He'd be right on the cusp of a NC and their alumni would write bigger checks for his team. You all say it's just NIL now and not recruiting. Now if he doesn't think he can make it all the way then, yeah, of course he bolts.
At some point, the cost of retaining him and paying for these teams will catch up to a small school like OM. LSU or Florida just have so much more of a pool to get money from.
