Breakout Candidates For 2025

We're now 7 Saturdays away from toe meeting leather in Hattiesburg and about 3 weeks from the start of fall camp. So who's your breakout candidates for this year?


Offense: Rickey Johnson, Brenen Thompson, Xavier Gayten(I think he'll overtake Daniels and be RB3 in the rotation)

Defense: Jalen Smith, Jamil Burroughs, Jayven Williams(I think he will be the opening day CB opposite Kelley Jones

Then don't. But can we stop complaining about it? This isn't changing anytime soon. And it's not like every other school isn't going through the same turnover.

I mean we recruited both Johnson and Gayten out of HS.
