What?s wrong with showing your fandom? I think he calls it like he sees it but just shows his emotion for his team.
He has been critical of the buckeyes many times and even made their fans mad at him. Maybe I don?t pay a lot of attention to the announcers but he seems to be as good as any to me.
The one I hate to hear is Brady. The guy is not an announcer, he may be knowledgeable but he puts me to sleep.
I say Brady knowledgeable, but he seems to talk about stuff I already know so much that I miss the real stuff. Sounds like the adults in Charlie Brown cartoons (you too young to get reference?).

The over analyzation some do is beyond annoying. Most the time it's just a singular athletic play or move a player pulled off this one time but wouldn't again. But announcers try to pitch it as something they've practiced over and over and was planned out all along even though it comes out of a busted play they salvage. Then go on to boast about the game plan of said coach. Gary Danielson was the worst at this. Especially calling a Bammer game.
