In Starkville? The filet at Tyler last week before KY game was fantastic. Had a couple of good apps. Cheesecake and stuffed pancakes for dessert were good also.
That depends, the cotton district staples are there, Bulldog Burger, Two Brothers, The Bin, also Boardtown Pizza and Arepas. The old standards of Oby?s and Harvey?s never disappoint. If you are in a much more casual mood then there is always Dave?s Darkhorse Tavern.
Depends on the food you want to eat:
BBQ / Chicken - Two Bros
Catfish / Burger / Seafood / Daquiri - Dooey's
Kicked out during Tornado weather - Bin
Loaded Fries - StaggerIn
Steak / Brunch food - Harvey's
Po-Boy - Oby's
Mimosa Tower - Klaasroom
Mexican - LaTa
Tyler/Dooeys/Harveys have always been go-to's. Sounds like my son wants to try one of the newer places this trip. We're about an hour out; coming up from a concert last night at Hard Rock Live. So we have a little time to decide. Thanks guys; appreciate ya'.
The Bin, Two Bros, Arepas were all PACKED. So Dooey's it was and it was great as always. Walked past Chris Beard and the Webels loading the bus at the Courtyard. We scowled and ignored them like good Dawgs. HAILSTATE!!!
Making the walk from Dooey's to a State sporting event with a daiquiri (strawberry mango marg is my go to) in hand is a fun "fan dawg walk" experience. I (and others) rip on the mayor a lot, but making that legal now is kinda cool and a good decision. Highly recommend for the drinkers who were scared of the law to do it nowadays.
Harvey's for some dinner and cocktails. Postgame decompression.
How is Commodore Bob's?
