Did not make the trip to New Jersey. Maybe he is sick, but if not that is probably about it for him.

Hope they have better luck finding some portal shooters next season. Taylor and Fort are flat out busts.

It’s ridiculous we have gone this long over 2 regimes that we can’t find a couple of guys to shoot 35%.

they can shoot it but they can't defend and bring more to the table, in order to get more pt.

Been to all home games and Taylor's body language and facial expression in warm ups has been terrible. Heard we gave him big NIL $ and he can't see the court for long in OOC games and SEC opponents talent will be even tougher. He was the 20 or so ppg big dog at Marshall but seems he can't make move to this level. He really struggles on D staying in front of his man. As for Fort, had one big game early in the year. Jans had to tighten his rotation with the SEC coming. 12 man rotation probably helped lose the Southern game.

Taylor is actually tied with Hubbard as having the highest three-point percentage on the team. Both are shooting exactly 40.00%. Shooting isn’t the reason Taylor hasn’t played much.

Well, I'm concerned about the Stansbury Isaac or Jacob or whatever his name is...didn't see him on the bench...thanks

We've smartly cut our rotation down to 8 guys. Probably be 9 when Tolu comes back. So some talented players will be sitting the bench. No way around it.

Yeah, he can shoot, but athletically he's on about the same level as Isaac Stansbury. How that was missed in the evaluation, I'll never know.

We've played our best ball the last 2 games, so change nothing except tolu

Agreed. Shooting isn’t the reason he can’t get minutes. SEC level athleticism is the reason he can’t get minutes. Defense, rebounding, etc.

He can't play defense at the level Jans requires.

Bad eval

Taylor can't defend and if you play for Jans you have to defend. Trey Fort had a couple of good games early for us, he got into a slump which happens sometimes, honestly he may help us again later in the season at some point.. shooters shoot and he is a shooter.. plus he plays some D

In the last 3 games he has played Taylor is 5-7 from 3. He's our 2nd best 3-pt shooter - Fort hasn't done much since about the second game. I know Taylor's defense lacks but we need another shooter. I wonder if there is a way to get him a few shots every game.

Taylor's issues are way more mental than physical. He's struggling mentally in life his right now. Hope he figures things out.

Like I've said before, NIL is stupid if you don't spend smart.

NIL is a lot like recruiting in general. Every NIL dollar is not going to be well spent. You just have to have more hits than misses. Hubbard and Bell were both huge hits this year. Taylor was a miss.

I think NIL is paid on a monthly basis. So if he is no longer on the team, he gets no NIL.

Whew! I can only imagine the talk in the locker room about $350 M

Statistically, Taylor and Hubbard are tied for the highest 3-point percentage on the team at 40.0% (after the Rutgers game). Clearly Hubbard has taken more shots.

I feel bad for the guy.

I know he wants to play, but he’s a step slow on defense. On a team built on defense. It is what it is.

We need ASU to rebound and look good in the Pac 12 and need Northwestern and Rutgers both to finish top half of the Big 10. That Southern loss is going to take a lot to shake.

I heard we were set to pay him around $75,000 in NIL this year. Don?t know where some are getting the $350k amount.

I do not know the exact amount but I know it was more than 75K. It was 6 figures.

I would take 6-12 pts off of the bench. That’s 2-4 3’s per night.

Yeah I know and that is my point. Looks like we did OK in basketball; seems like lot of waste in some other sports though. You gotta go with sure fire returns spending NIL. Just can't miss on ave players. We can get them anytime.

This is what most players and many fans miss. Everyone don't get NIL; only the real stars and most that will play at the next level. Kinda ironic isn't it? NIL for the poor college sports kids but really it is the few rich getting richer.
