If I remember everything correctly, he had a bad accident(wakeboarding I believe) and was never really right after it. I also vaguely remember there were wristbands they were selling and it ended up being a scam involved.

Paralyzed about 10 years ago maybe. Might have been from complications. Just really sad and so young

He dove off of a pier when he was out with friends and became a quadriplegic. I remember the wristbands but never heard about a scam.
Somebody on 6pack said he was in a traffic accident. I don't know any other details.

Complications from the paralysis. Such a sad tragic accident that happened to him. He was a good dude! RIP! Prayers for his family!

One of my favorite players just for how he was. It was so sad when the accident happened but he made the best of it all these years. Sad he's gone.

Same thing happened with Chucky Mullen, but he lived for quite a while before he died.
