All players on both sides entered the transfer portal at halftime and transferred to the other states team. Then they all held out while waiting on finalization of their individual NIL deals.

No idea what really happened but this entered my brain for whatever reason.

Alabama 26 - Mississippi 16; Daniel Hill (Meridian) caught a touchdown pass from Illinois commit Trey Petty (Starkville ). I could have caught that pass. MSU commits Sanfrisco Magee, JJ Harell and Fred Clark had flashes
