Solid start, really need to hit the portal hard the next two weeks.

Colorado already landed 4 transfer OL. Apparently the new move is to tell the portal recruits that you will pay ?overslot? money but only if you commit and enroll basically on the visit.

That?s why so many kids are committing on their first or second visit.

I think we still have some work to do with Hill but at least he got on campus.

Anything is possible, but highly highly unlikely. Our staff has expected him to go to Oregon since mid last week.

Yes. Which is why I said highly highly unlikely. There Will be portal guys who commit to a school now but won't enroll there. But I'd be shocked if Gabriel was one of them. We've wished him well and are moving forward is my understanding.

He seems pretty capable from what I saw too. Gotta get in the trenches asap, to protect and destroy some QBs!!!

Staff is hitting offense hard which I love. Lebby definitely throwing his weight around showing his reputation.

But we've got to pick up the defensive recruiting in both the portal and high school. Next years two deep on defense is scary bad. We need immediate impact portal guys at all three levels along with some quality high school talent.

We will not get another portal QB who is a potential immediate starter. Shapen is our main portal QB.

We are still on McCord, DJ, and a couple of other QBs and monitoring situations at Bama with Simpson. Raiola looking like he is now headed to Nebraska has muddied the waters with McCord and FSU is ready to throw the war chest at Cam Ward so DJ is probably back in play for the moment.

As others have said, we really need to get some OL and DL guys and get them in a hurry.
