Preach, I expected this level of QB and he may be very good. I think the build up that included Gabriel, Uagalelei, McCord, et, al, has many thinking this is underwhelming. But I am like you. I think he will be a huge step up from what we currently have available.

Agreed on all accounts... from OC last year, head coach and staff this year. These lists of possibles and favorites and then someone totally out of left field. Lolz.

So Sawyer Robertson goes to Baylor to try for more playing time and we end up with Shapen (from Baylor) .... wonder who ends up with the better deal in this swap

Shapen coming from team that gave up 33 points a game. And he is coming to a team with an offensive minded HC. Looking at his Stats, he certainly wasn't the reason Baylor went 3-9.

Sawyer has been bad so far. Shapen is a much better deal

We are still all in on Gabriel. But this guy is decent. He does have a problem staying healthy tho. Shreveport kid played at Evangel.

I watched and he's the real deal. He can put the ball into a very small area for the receiver to catch. Has got some wheels also to get him out of trouble.
