lol- 2020 when I was at Natchez. My QB threw 6 picks. They did a great job of confusing our young OL and my QB just made some really bad decisions. Only D all year that made us look bad offensively

They do a great job and my hats off to those guys.

I was at that game. I remember it. Pierson did a great job when he was there and now Reynolds is carrying it on. Finally won it all in 2020 after losing in 19 and now after number 2. My son was the catcher on the baseball team that won the first West Jones State Championship in any sport in 19. My 4 kids all Mustangs. Great support from the community here. Travel well in all sports.

Got that ass with that one- altho Co-Lin's Tray Minor broke some tackles to get in the "land of milk and honey" (RIP Jack)

Other than that- they suffocated us. I felt like Pete Carroll when they picked us off from the 2 yard line when we tried to run a pick play

My son (24) has seen two Egg Bowl victories in Oxford.

Louisville will be the State champs of all classifications if they continue the thumping they're putting on Columbia. They beat the 5a champs, West Point. If Starkville and Noxubee win their games tonight they will own wins over 3 state championship teams.

Last time I went there several years ago on a brutally cold night, I was pulled out of line by their rental security and almost strip searched, as he was sure I had a cowbell (and I also have a degree from there out of necessity later in my career***, MSU out of love of course!). I have no desire to go back unless we start a winning streak under Lebby! Hail State!

MHSAA is a $ hungrey joke with the move to 7 divisions. Some smaller schools only need one division win to make the playoffs and the 1st round games are often a slaughter when FB teams in the NE go south to play. Has happened often to my former HS.

Truly a joke. 3-7 teams were in the playoffs.
