Supposedly there was an agreement to let Pittman stay if his buyout money could be reallocated to NIL and Petrino being OC was one of the major requirements from some of the boosters for letting him get another year.

He didn?t really have a great year. People seem to like Criswell and the freshman Singleton but it also wouldn?t surprise me if Petrino goes after a portal QB either.

He was sacked 42 times, so their OL may be trash.

He seemed to regress as the year went on. I just remember him missing wide open guys by a mile when we played them.

I would have told those mother****ers to kiss my ass and pay me whatever they owed me. That is a nightmare agreement.

The OL was absolutely horrible but he also held the ball entirely too long at times and was way less accurate this year for some reason. He?s just not a good fit for an offense requiring more than one read. The Briles offense was super simple and he was a lot better in it.
