Personally, I don't want him. Too flashy. Too streaky. Not consistent, not tough. And not a winner IMO.

His game against us was atrocious and I still don't understand why. It's not like our D was playing lights out that day, regardless of what folks might say. They weren't playing like they did against OM. Whether it was drugs or some other reason that day, he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn during our game.

You have to factor "easiness to go get" in your biggest need calculus. No doubt we need a QB1, but that's going to be an easier pull than a couple of SEC-quality edge rushers and a couple of SEC offensive linemen.

KJ is a possibility but he is behind a few folks. Gabriel is A tier and Ward is B tier. After that I think there are 1 or 2 more options before you get to Jefferson.

The OL is in a lot better shape than their numbers suggest. We are returning a lot of guys from the line that were top quarter of the SEC 2 years in a row before this season. Friend, Schmidt, and Barbay deserve all the bad stuff for what they did to that line.

Do we need a starting lineman? Yes. Do we need another depth piece on the OL? Yes.

I'd say the need for a legit QB and an edge rusher are more important though.
