View Full Version : If it is Lebby it's interesting that

Most on here seem to be excited yet the team he's leaving seems ready to pack his bags for him. Does that not give anyone pause? The forums for OU are overwhelmingly happy he's gone and think we're making a big mistake.

Really Clark?

Remember when the Louisville fans were ecstatic that we took Grantham and they got Sirmon from us? Fans are a stupid bunch sometimes.

They blame him for the losses, but forget the fact that their offensive stats are impressive. If not for him, Gabriel isn't there and they aren't even relevant.

No. They don’t. Ou fans have multiple times said “lebby is the best coach on staff including venables”

When you are averaging over 40pts a game but you score 33 one game and get beat, it HAS to be the fault of the offense.**

Gabriel was a terrible QB before Lebby

Oklahoma fans are going to hate being in the SEC.

OU's offense has been stellar. Fans are basically stupid. This board shows it day after day

He had potential. I put him on the same caliber as like a Haynes King or Shea Patterson. They need the right fit to showcase their abilities.

But. Yes, Lebby turned him into a baller.

Oklahoma didn't lose games because of offense

It?s been said. He chose to keep his wife happy by letting Art come down to the field AD got pissed.

Art can be an in home analyst and contribute to his son in law if need be. I know several retired coaches who do this very thing for juco and high school programs here in MS. If Lebby doesn't want that then Art stays off the field and nobody has a come apart and needs a safe space in public or social media.

Ouch, ain't that true. At least Louisville fans are.

Don't we play OK next year? Lebby bowl, might be the start of a new rivalry.

This is true. The flip side is he had great O playing against week Big12 Ds. SEC play will be interesting. OK losing their OC going to hurt them too.

Yeah, its going to be interesting. TX will do fine. OK may face some tough sledding when they get a taste of SEC D every week.

Agreed. Some posters here even said States '23 offense would be better than it was under Leach, can you believe that?

Some relatively casual OU fans on there if you want to see their response. Plus the usual moral posturing

Those all read as the scorned lover. Unless they hire a very good OC Oklahoma will be lucky to win 8 next year.

My favorite post on there is "Lebby screwed our defense so many times with quick scores" hahahahahaha think we found Arnett's burner Reddit account. In all seriousness, it is refreshing to know other fanbases have really dumb fans as well

Which is basically saying "we don't think we can improve on the previous OCs system, so we're going to keep it the same"
