Does anyone know the tail number (or owner) of the jet that Mississippi State uses? I can't find a picture of it that shows the tail number and, per FAA records, it doesn't appear to be owned by the University directly.

It is blocked so you cannot track it anyways. We also generally try not to take the university jet when interviewing candidates. We only use it when we are bringing the candidate back and the papers are signed.

Well, that's not entirely true. You can still follow it from public ADS-B data. Just a bit more leg work sometimes.

Really Clark?

Kind of obvious why you are here wanted to track the plane. Lol. Good luck getting through the silly season with Kinne still at TX St

Haha, yeah. I didn't mean for it to be secret. Trying to keep tabs on unusual flights inbound to KHYI (San Marcos) and neighboring airports.

Aha!! Thank you! That was enough info to find it. N204MS, owned by Maroon Air LLC (Mississippi State University Foundation)

If it is Learjet 45, then it is 204MS

Go to flightaware.com and enter the tail number and you can see it’s flights for the past month or so.

That brings no results in the FlightRadar24 app.

Is this it? N404MS

This is the plane that flew in Leach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tP6naXl4xjw&t=98s

Per Flight Aware, the owner does not want tracking. It has not been owned by the MSU Foundation since 2013.

Isn't he an OM grad but supports MSU?

Edit: been to his house in the early 2000s. Big time hunter. Just remember him telling me he graduated at OM.

You have to use the ADS-B website. It is public data and you are not stalking anyone (wink...Elon Musk...wink)

All the Clark’s that I know went to State. They are a BIG MSU family and give a sizable amount of money to us.

MSU hasn’t used the Clark’s plane in years, N101CC is a Beachjet similar to N404MS that belonged to the foundation. The foundation replaced the Beachjet N404MS with a lear45 a few years ago.

Is Robert the CEO now?
I know Morgan, the daughter who helps run it, is a big State fan too.

Some flights maybe

If they are on IFR flight plan it is federally tracked. You can?t as a private citizen or company ask to not be tracked if you use the FAA flight system. FYI unless you fly VFR you are ona flight plan and tracked. ADSB now tracks VFR traffic.

Albert fell and broke his back last year. Morgan is in Madison and they are building a new $150M distribution center close to the new Amazon site. Also own Gulf State Canneries in Clinton. CC Clark is a HUGE operator including several beer distributorships. Bought the Miller Light one that includes both State and Ole Miss.
