Ive always wondered how they awarded this award also. Voorhies is good but Im not sure he is the best high school player in MS. I mean his team was so so. Other people have more stats. Hes a great prospect but as far as best player in Mississippi Im not sure

Personally I thought for what he meant to his team and the stats he put up Aeris Willaims would have gotten a serious look. That kid is bad ass. He is going to be awesome for us. The numbers he put up were just mind boggling. With him and Ashton Shumpert at RB for us, we should be able to run Mullen's offense to perfection for the foreseeable future.

Has an OL ever won that award? Usually linemen don't get that type of award unless they are far and above better then everyone else and I don't think he was or has been this year.
