Will be interesting. UT-Martin didn't play anybody in their first game but had six guys in double figures and posted 104 total.

I'm optimistic but as we know it doesn't always translate to conference play.

How nice is it to have so many players that can compete. Not that long ago we barely had enough bodies to practice.

Well and non conference is the time to try different rotations and give guys a chance to see what they can do.

I thought we would get some good scoring from Taylor. I know it's real early in the year but he has looked bad so far.

Nice finish to the half. We had gotten kinda sloppy and I think Jans got on their ass during the last timeout.

Pleased with how Chol is playing inside. May have gotten away with a couple of travels in the paint but the buckets still count none the less

I'm actually a little concerned. I know it's early but it doesn't really seem like his game flows with the offense, Jans mentioned his biggest adjustment is on the defensive end. I'd love to see him get it going though because Ive been looking forward to watching him

Well coached, more depth than last year. This team has real potential. They could go deep in the tourney.

I really like Trey Fort. He shoots the basketball with so much confidence and makes most of them. His shooting is going to be important for us this year. He gives us something we didn't have last year.. Hubbard as well

Gai Chol is looking really good also. He doesn't play like a Freshman. I love his pick and roll IQ

And he can get off the floor for his size. Wonder what his vertical is.

Agree; he definitely looks more advanced than a freshman. In size, agility and awareness. He will be a beast if he adds some bulk. Doesn't run the floor that well but not surprising for his size.

Very much so, we have a chance to be really scary. Depth is our strength this year

Fort and Hubbard are real deals. Fort still reminds me so much of Winsome Frazier. Hubbard maybe a little Wilson?

Getting some shooters, we are going to be a tough out when Tolu comes back in SEC play. Could be a special year.

Look at J Bell 12 rebounds. He should be eating into someones minutes when T gets back.

Wow! I'll say it again, Trey Fort and Josh Hubbard's shooting will take us far this year. We haven't had guys who could get hot and shoot like these two in years. Gaurd play takes you far in College basketball and we have some really good gaurds. Shak Moore may have to fight to get his spot back

Yeah and the irony is his best basketball probably as a freshman for Memphis when without his play MSU wins an NIT title.

I dont get it either but the guy plays hard and with a good attitude. His defense is really good I'll give him that. But offensively he just needs to play conservatively, with the scoring we have this season we don't need him trying to put up big offensive numbers. Just play defense, rebound and get others involved
