I like our chances to go deep in the tourney. We made the tourney last year. Everyone we have is one year older, more mature, and more experienced. We basically traded Tyler Stevenson, Eric Reed, Will McNair, and Kimani Hamilton. In return we got Trey Fort, Josh Hubbard, Jimmy Bell, Jaquan Scott, and Andrew Taylor. That?s a much improved roster.

Last year we made the tourney DESPITE our top 4 players in number of three pointers attempted shooting a percentage of 27.2% (DJ Jeffries 147 attempts), 26.5% (Shak Moore 132 attempts), 33.9% (Deshawn Davis 109 attempts), and 23.5% (Eric Reed 102 attempts). I can?t see us shooting that badly this year. Those 4 hit 136 of 490 attempts behind the arc. That is 27.76%. As a team we shot 178 of 669 (26.6%) which was dead last in the NCAA. If we can increase that to 35.0% (around 120th in the country), it would be an additional 56 shots made. That is 168 extra points or 4 points per game. It would make a big difference in these tight games.
