Kirk and Reece lusting over Colorado trailing 6-7.

UCLA is marching up and down the field but has 4 turnovers. To keep it close.

Sanders ejecting for targeting. But Sanders had a nice flex and look at me before his exit.

yes and it is expected from those types.

colorado is flashy at times but still not near the team that kirk and reece wish for

Colorado was 1-11 last year. Pretty dumb to suggest sanders hasn't done a good job imo

I didn't say anything about the job, simply stating they are not near where he wants them an sure not where the reece and crying kirk types wish for

Those guys are just doing their job. Sanders is good tv, so they will protect the product.

They don't do it like that for any other 3 or 4 win team but let's just agree to disagree.

That game got their prime time spot, and I don't think it's a coincidence that it was prime time. People watch him more than other bad teams... hell, people watch him more than good teams

Sanders has said he met with Leach when looking for an offensive coordinator. It shows tremendously with the lack of rushing attempts yesterday. They could have easily run the ball yesterday to mitigate UCLA's pasha rush instead he went full pass mode and was getting his son killed.

Because other 3 and 4 win teams are not captivating products. If the SEC could make us play all our games on SECNetwork+ then they would. Deion markets the program and makes people want to believe in him and watch his team. Arnett makes people want to turn off the tv and does ZERO to positively market our program.

In the world of the HAVE and HAVE NOTS, I would like to speak for the HAVE NOTS. This is the Football HAVES and Football HAVE NOTS. I will use high school football at the national level as references. Being that I live and network in California much will be referenced as such. The New York, Chicago, and Ohio football governing bodies follow suit.

Money is encroaching on high school football in many ways. We all know about financial privileges in life. Private well endowed high schools lawyer up and skew State governing bodies in regards to high school football. The Los Angeles Trinity League carries clout in the area. The corruption of the top high school program in America, Mater Dei of Santa Ana, is outrageous. This is the tip of the iceberg in Los Angeles as well as the other HAVES in America. The HAVES can recruit with near impunity while they monitor the HAVE NOTS throughout much of America. State athletic governing bodies get beat down by wealthy programs because they are out lawyered and many judges come from the privileged high schools also. Because of the Los Angeles Trinity League carnage this year, a Las Vegas team, Bishop Gorman, is the currant #1 team in America and will end up national champions for 2023. Bishop Gorman is so corrupt that the State Legislature, not athletic governing body, considered sanctions on Bishop Gorman on behalf of all high school football teams in the State? BTW Bishop Gorman gets Casino backing also.

The last high school football program I coached is Abraham Lincoln HS in San Diego. It is an inner-city program that just gets by financially. If any elitedoggers want to get a look go to X formerly Twitter and check out THEHIVEFB. The top prize in California HS Football is the OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP ruled by Mater Dei and St John Bosco in the Los Angeles Trinity League. Next level down is Division 1 and Lincoln won division 1. To get to that championship game Lincoln of San Diego did the unthinkable and defeated uber wealthy Sierra Canyon of Los Angeles. Sierra Canyon started a recruiting onslaught soon after.

Even in lowly San Diego as the Los Angeles elite see us, Private football programs get away with murder figuratively speaking. Religion is a work around for residency issues as well as financial privilege. This skews the acceptance of talent via not paying between $20,000 and $30,000 tuition, a year, because the school is defacto paying for winning football games. BTW Lebron James son was attending Sierra Canyon HS last year?

Back to Lincoln HS, the underprivileged area football team. I told fellow elitedoggers about their Twitter account. THEHIVEFB has leveled the player acquisition battle with the wealthy schools, the local talent prefers staying in the community rather than commute out with defacto scholarship. Some from out of area even try to get to Lincoln Football and the wealthy are unhappy. The wealthier are looking for a way to beat down an underprivileged program to free up some talent.

Because of what I have personally seen in San Diego HS football with Lincoln, I can not help wishing Deion Sanders the best because he has found his way to uplift a downtrodden college football team the hard way which is different. Considering all the shit scrub games that stunk up college football in the first three weeks of this season, I would like to thank Deion for filling in the gaps? If Deion can pull a 6-win season out of the hat, he will be my coach of the year.

Well...his coordinators have done a great job coaching the team for him. He is more of the motivational guy.

?the guy he hired to be his OC after talking to Leach is still at JSU, Lewis to my knowledge has never had any connections to Leach.

Deion came to Leach to learn about the Air raid offense. Leach recommended his current OC

No he recommended the OC he had at JSU. It was written about at the time. Lewis has no affiliation to Leach.

As someone who has always loved Deion I couldn’t agree more and actually someone like him is exactly what we need at State. Just really sad that I dont ever see our decision makers making that type of move.

Really Clark?

Colorado's fifteen minutes of fame is over.

Based on the amount of 5 stars that have chosen visits to Deion Land over other established Blue Bloods in CF, there is no such thing of fifteen minutes of fame in play. It is all numbers crunching and numbers seldom lie.

I think if they had the opportunity to do so they would hire him honestly. We probably missed that opportunity by a week or so honestly.

Interesting Coach Norm. The legal, politics and money remind me of State v OM recruiting in the 80s.

But I would say Prime did a good job of getting some talent into Colorado. However yes the money and politics of USC and others will be greater than Colorado. While CU doesn't have the financial backing Prime does.

When I watch Colorado play v Oregon UCLA etc. CU has a lot speed but they are small. They get destroyed on the LOS. Which... is the premium ($$$) positions in the recruiting game. Prime has the financial backers to fix that this off season.

State won't be able to get Deion Sanders... but we could get the Great Value version of Prime..... Fred Smoot.

Lol million dollar question. I wish I had the resources to find out, but I know if I was our AD with the resources the below is my criteria.

1. Can you lead an organization.
2. Can you coach football/evaluate talent.
3. Do you have the IT factor to tell people you are the boss and this is your program.
4. Are you captivating, when I sit in front of you are you making me a fan of you and are you going to piss off my your opponent.
5. Do you know how to market and sale.
6. Do you know how to market and sale and get internet clicks
7. Do you know how to market and sale and get internet clicks and be cool to recruits.
8. Do you know how to market and sale and get internet clicks and be cool to recruits and motivate them to run through a brick wall for you and like it.
9. Are you the guy that sees the potential of State, the potential of a charter SEC school with all the that brings from money to air time to doors opened for you. Do you see that State is a school BEGGING for it?s on Bobby Bowden, Joe Pa, Nick Saban, Woody Hayes and on and on to be enshrined at that school. Does that coach want to be that for State?
10. HATES Pissville U just because he knows they deserve to be hated in general and is quite disgusted that the general population doesn?t hate them.
