downtown will be hard with NYE. Southaven may be a safe bet.

There's not anything near the Liberty Bowl. If I were you'd I'd stay downtown if you're looking to go out after the game - but that's gonna come with a price tag. As far as downtown goes, I'm not a big Beale Street fan (although I'm not a college kid anymore). There's a LOT more going on downtown than just Beale. Main Street & the Arts District is a better option IMHO.

I'm not sure what you mean by not a ton of choices... are all the hotels booked up? There are plenty of hotels around the city.

Stay in Southaven or Olive Branch. Quality places to stay, affordable rates, short drive to the stadium.

Stay in Mississippi. Southaven, Horn Lake, Olive Branch or Hernando. I recommend eating at the "Memphis BBQ" just off I-55 in Horn Lake. Best I've ever had and you can add bacon to any order for a $1. Bacon makes anything better!

I live in Southaven. Plenty of good places to stay here. And I am looking forward to the town being taken over by State fans. To many ole miss folks around here.
