for an OF.......7 years/$153 MM.....Can't believe they paid that much for him and can't believe the Sox let him off the hook......Ellsbury is a solid player but he's not worth $153 MM, no way, no how.......

That's why he's not with Boston. He wanted too much cash and the Sox wouldn't pay it. They spend tons, but that was too much for him. He's a solid player, but his average will drop some with a larger outfield at Yankee Stadium. He also stays on the DL a lot.
