Very very well deserved. He is undoubtably the best football player in the state of Mississippi, and it's not even close.

Absolutely no better choice this year. Nobody deserves it more than Gabe. Played every game this year, played at a high level, senior, 4 bowl games, 4-year starter, leader, doesn't cause trouble, big NFL prospect. Nobody on our team or any other team deserves it more.

In his entire career, has Jackson ever missed a game for us? If he has, he hasn't missed but a few......the guy has been a warrior and almost immune to injury.

No. In Rick Cleveland's column, he said he started every game for four years. That is darned impressive. I would guess that makes him the only bulldog to start 4 bowl games.
